Polytechnic High School has one more achievement at the International Olympiad in Physics

The schoolchild of the Polytechnic High School Hovsep Karapetyan has had a new victory.

The International Olympiad in Physics has finished in Belarus where schoolchildren from 9 countries of the world were in one platform. Seven participants of the Armenian team have demonstrated high results in junior and senior groups, taking 1 silver and 6 bronze Medals. Schoolchildren from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and other countries took part in the International Olympiad.

One of the five participants representing the senior group, NPUA High School pupil from the 12th grade Hovsep Karapetyan has taken the Bronze Medal.

Hovsep Karapetyan finished Nikol Aghbalyan general education school with high performance. Technical sciences were of utmost importance to him from his early years. He knew that would get technical education still in secondary school. “When I was not still a pupil at Polytechnic High School, I used to study with my teacher, Head of the Olympic Club Alfred Petrosyan. I did not completely believe in my potential but Mr. Petrosyan saw it in me and this victory is thanks to him. I am delighted to be awarded with the medal, and I came back to my school with the Bronze Medal. I try to satisfy all the expectations as I feel great responsibility. I will always try to keep the honor of my school high” – Hovsep Karapetyan pointed out.

Hovsep loves Physics and Mathematics a lot. Besides, the more he gets deep in it, the more interesting it becomes for him.

He still did not decide on his future profession but he believes professions connected with exact sciences will always be modern and develop year by year.

Hovsep does not have a last desire, as he has the next goal that is the prerequisite of his success.
